Women’s Super 8 Box Cricket Tournament – Batala 2025

In a remarkable celebration of athleticism and women’s empowerment, the Batala Team of Khed Bharati successfully organized the Women’s Box Cricket Tournament—a high-energy event that showcased the power, passion, and potential of Punjab’s women in the world of sport.

Held at Sky Cricket Academy in Village Misserpur near Batala, this all-women cricket tournament featured short-format, action-packed matches in the unique box cricket style—fast-paced, exciting, and perfect for urban spaces.


Highlights of the Tournament:

  • Participation of 4 dynamic women’s teams from Batala and nearby regions
  • Box cricket format ensured thrilling 8-over per side matches in a compact arena
  • Each match drew energetic local crowds and strong community engagement
  • Matches conducted by certified umpires and coordinated by Khed Bharati volunteers
  • Special awards for Best Player, Best Catch, Spirit of Cricket, and more
  • A young girl got selected by GDCA to play for the district after hey witnessed her pace bowling in this tournament.
